Nasihah Series
The An-Nasihah series of books constitute an Islamic studies curriculum for children between the ages of 6 to 14 years old. Its meant to be used with an external Arabic Studies/Qaidah book. This book is supervised by graduates of the various Darulooms of the UK, South Africa, and the Subcontinent. Out of all of the curriculum here, it sees the most among my peers in America and the UK, its also used extensively in the Balkans. Every book has an accompanying workbook.

Safar Series
The Safar series is the most robust out of all the Islamic Studies Curriculums I’ve been introduced to. Its creators are a small team of Islamic Studies graduates with degrees in Education and Psychology. The Safar series consists of the Islamic Studies Curriculum, The Tajweed and Memorization Curriculum, and the Arabic Language Curriculum. These three sets of books make up Safar. Other curriculums rely on the dars nizami style hifz program to supplement their curriculum. Safar is standalone, and while that means you don’t have to search for a separate Qaidah book and Mushaf, it also makes it a bit less flexible. Every book has an accompanying workbook.

Tasheel Series
The Tasheel Series is the most enduring of all english maktab curriculums, its been in use for the past 30 years, and continues to be used all across the english speaking muslim world. Developed by the Jamiatul Ulema South Africa as a solution to the lack of Islamic Education in the lives of western children. Like most Islamic studies curriculums its meant to be used side by side with Arabic and Qaidah textbooks. Does not include workbook.
