عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : ” سبعة يظلهم الله في ظله يوم لا ظل إلا ظله ، إمام عادل وشاب نشأ في عبادة الله ، ورجل قلبه معلق بالمساجد ، ورجلان تحابا في الله اجتمعا عليه وتفرقا عليه ، ورجل دعته امرأة ذات منصب وجمال فقال إني أخاف الله . ورجل تصدق بصدقة فأخفاها حتى لا تعلم شماله ما تنفق يمينه ، ورجل ذكر الله خالياً ففاضت عيناه ” متفق عليه

7 People Under the shade of Allah’s Throne

  1. al-Imam al-Adil The righteous leader
  2. The Youth engaged in worship
  3. The man whose heart is conncected to the masjid
  4. Those who love only for Allah, and hate only for Allah
  5. He who is tempted by not only beauty, but also status and wealth and still refrains
  6. The one who gives secretely
  7. The one who remembers Allah so much that he cries

 

The righteous leader

Adl, righteousness or justice, is a very tough standard to live up to, it implies that one will give what is due, and take what is due, without ever transgressing or overstepping bounds. The respect the old, and have mercy on the young, while still demanding that his orders be followed. The person who does his position justice will be sheltered by Allah, in honor of the hardships and torment he endured trying to adhere to this standard.

Youth engaged in worship

  • Study
  • Dhikr
  • Staying away from evil

A Shabb, is a youthful and able bodied person who is able to do everything easily. It is during this time that the evils and temptations of the world are most visible and most alluring. The youth who despite this, engages himself and spends his youth, his best years pleasing Allah instead of himself. Allah will shade him and protect him, when everyone else is suffering.

Person connected to Masjid

The masjid is the house of Allah, he who is connected to the masjid is connected to Allah
