This is a project that I was working on that was halted because of covid-19. Analysis of the concept of love from an intellectual and spiritual perspective and why having Love for Allah before all things is important to the concept of “faith” in Islam and establishing relationships with anything else in general - Remote Maktab
I am currently repicking up my maktab curriculum analysis that I put on hold for the past 3 years in an active case study. Starting with the Nasihah Program I plan to record daily instruction with the maktab books and see how parents and children who cant normally deal with scheduled activity benefit. - Misc. Topics/Advice for students and teachers
Beginning with the editing of my notes of the book ta’lim al-mutallim, I have certain opinions on issues I would like to use this site to express. Starting with Takrar and Mutalah and its relationship with pride and focus, to the usage of words in translation and our approach to apologetics and revisionist history. - Tajwid and Maqamat
These two parts of the site are going to be completely replaced. I spent the last year or so teaching the rules of tajwid and those notes are going to be the basis of the new site content. Translations of the arabic Mutun will relegated as side material. Advances in technology have taken a lot of guess work out of the science of maqamat. After explaining basic music theory, and how sound works, any student of the maqamat should be able to maximize the time spent with his teacher after learning how to use the tools provided, and anyone who wants to learn HOW to recite the quran beautifully can learn how their voice works and exactly how and what you have to do to make it sound like the great qurra. - One Minute Madrassa
I’m going to start recording readings of the English translation of One Minute Madrassa by Mawlana Hakim Akhtar Sahib. If the remote maktab material becomes too much for families I want this to be something to fall back on - The Halal Food Industry
The halal food industry has become a hot topic, and I want to spend some time breaking down certain concepts in the easiest and most understandable ways possible. To understand why the support of the halal industry is of paramount importance to the muslim’s spiritual and worldly success, how it aids in the community building process and why the things we think are trivial are not.
By tomorrow evening All of the placeholder pages should be populated with some content. This is a work in progress and hopefully Allah will allow me to complete it.
