Yesterday I was researching, Kuhla and faskh of nikah and al-hilah al-najizah about how the collapse of the Islamic Indian government closed a lot of the hanafi marriage and divorce options in India. Which led me to read about, Khula’ in Pakistan, since no translation of al-hilah al-najizah is available. This led to me finding an article written by a Lebanese Christian who has studied Muslim family law and his take on it being implemented outside the Muslim world in his article, Jordanian DIvorce in US. Lastly, I found a very interesting article by Abed Awad Esquire, compiling cases of Muslim family law in Islamic Family Law in the US.
