I was assigned a fatwa recently about marital relations. And in doing the research I chanced upon a great number of books written in English about this subject written by ulema. It dawned upon me that the modern muslim is in need of comprehensive guidance about every aspect of his life. I have taken this responsibility upon myself and will seek to gather relevant and authentic information and make it accessible to those in need of it. I am starting this process by examining every aspect of the modern persons life. Then comparing and contrasting this with the lives of people in the past. Looking to how our ulema addressed them to give equivalent advice to the people of today. First though I would like to expose the masses to books that have already been authored on these subjects.
I have decided to merge this project with the on-going book review and compilation here.
But I will continue developing this idea for the future.
