The first foundation: Tawhid (dhat)
All praise is due to Allah, who acquainted his slaves with his heavenly book, recited by his prophet, that his is one in essence(dhat), and has no partners. He is unique and nothing is like him. He is absolute, and nothing is opposed to him. He is alone, and has no equal. He is eternal, and nothing was before him. He is everlasting and there was no beginning for him. He will always exist, and nothing can be after him. He is timeless, without end. Enduring without rest. Timeless and not transient. He is always and continuously as his noble qualities describe. He is never ending, and unremitting, impervious to the passing of time. He remains unaffected by the turns of the ages. He is the first, the last, the apparent, the hidden, and upon everything omnipotent.
